Position Overview

This is a unique hybrid role that combines:

75% Ecommerce Operations & AI Content Management

with

25% Creative Production, Catalog Development & Packaging Design

This is not a traditional graphic design position.

We are seeking a highly organized, systems-oriented professional who can leverage AI tools, manage product information at scale, optimize marketplace listings, and support catalog and packaging production.

The ideal candidate enjoys building processes, improving workflows, organizing large amounts of product data, and using AI as a daily productivity tool.

What You'll Own

You will be responsible for the accuracy, quality, and performance of product content across our ecommerce and marketplace ecosystem.

Primary Responsibilities (75%)

AI Product Content & Listing Management

Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and related technologies to create and optimize:

  • Product titles
  • Bullet points
  • Product descriptions
  • SEO content
  • Product attributes
  • Marketplace content
  • Enhanced product information

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing AI-generated content for accuracy
  • Maintaining brand consistency
  • Improving search visibility
  • Creating scalable content workflows
  • Developing repeatable AI prompts and processes

Product Information Management (Plytix)

Manage and maintain product information within our PIM system.

Responsibilities include:

  • Product categorization
  • Attribute management
  • Product relationships
  • Product families and variants
  • Data integrity
  • Data enrichment
  • Product imports and exports

You will help manage and improve information across more than 6,400 active SKUs.

Marketplace & Ecommerce Operations

Own listing quality and content optimization across:

  • Amazon
  • Walmart Marketplace
  • Wayfair
  • Faire
  • Etsy
  • eBay
  • Shopify
  • Magento 2 B2B

Responsibilities include:

  • Listing creation and optimization
  • Content updates
  • Attribute completion
  • Category mapping
  • Marketplace compliance
  • Product feed troubleshooting
  • Search optimization
  • Image coordination
  • New product launches

AI Media & Product Asset Coordination

Work alongside internal and external creative resources to develop:

  • Lifestyle imagery
  • Marketplace image sets
  • Product infographics
  • Product videos
  • Promotional assets

Secondary Responsibilities (25%)

Annual Catalog Production

Support development and maintenance of our annual printed and digital product catalogs.

Using:

  • Adobe InDesign
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator

Responsibilities include:

  • Product page layouts
  • Catalog organization
  • Data imports
  • Product image preparation
  • Print production files
  • Catalog updates and revisions

Catalog production follows a structured workflow:

Plytix → Data Export → InDesign Templates → Print Production

Packaging Design & Marketing Materials

Create and update:

  • Product packaging
  • Package inserts
  • Product labels
  • Wholesale sales flyers
  • Promotional materials
  • Marketplace banners
  • Trade show graphics
  • Marketing collateral

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of ecommerce, digital merchandising, marketplace management, or product content experience
  • Daily experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms
  • Experience managing large product catalogs
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written communication skills

Adobe Creative Cloud

Required:

  • Adobe InDesign
  • Adobe Photoshop

Preferred:

  • Adobe Illustrator

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Plytix or other PIM systems
  • Experience with Feedonomics or feed-management platforms
  • Amazon Seller Central experience
  • Walmart Marketplace experience

  • Experience managing 2,000+ SKU catalogs
