You'll troubleshoot advanced electrical systems, automated equipment, CNC/PLC-controlled machinery, and complex material-handling systems while helping keep our operation safe and running efficiently.

Starting Pay: $35.81/hour + $1.00/hour shift differential Retention Bonus: $5,000, paid in two installments at the end of each quarter Location: Morton, Illinois Shifts: 2nd & 3rd Shift | Fixed schedules | No seasonal layoffs

What You'll Do
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, electronic, CNC, PLC, and relay logic equipment.
  • Troubleshoot automated material-handling systems, conveyor networks, VFDs, PLCs, and industrial equipment.
  • Read and interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
  • Use electrical testing and digital diagnostic equipment to identify electrical and electromechanical faults.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on facility power distribution systems and plant equipment.
  • Support the installation and startup of new electrical equipment.
  • Calibrate and maintain testing instruments.
  • Follow OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and NFPA 70E safety practices.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 3+ years of commercial, industrial, military, electrical, or electronic experience or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of mechanical installation/repair experience or equivalent.
  • Strong electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Ability to pass a 2-hour Ramsay Electrical Maintenance assessment covering electrical theory, schematics, and safety.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Ability to work around high-voltage electricity, heavy equipment, confined spaces, and elevated areas, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Preferred: Technical degree/diploma and conduit-bending experience.
Available Shifts
  • 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM
  • 3rd Shift: Sunday night- Friday morning, 11:00 PM-7:00 AM
