Job Summary:
Protech Staffing is currently hiring experienced winery production professionals for a well-established winery. We are seeking Bottle Line Machine Operators and Forklift Drivers who have previous winery experience and can work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Candidates must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Bottle Line Machine Operators:
• Operate, monitor, and adjust bottling line equipment
• Ensure bottles are properly filled, labeled, capped, and packaged
• Perform quality checks throughout the production process
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report mechanical problems
• Maintain production records and complete required documentation
• Follow sanitation, safety, and quality control procedures
• Assist with line changeovers and equipment setup
Forklift Drivers:
• Safely operate forklifts to move wine products, materials, and packaging supplies
• Load and unload trucks and transport materials throughout the facility
• Supply bottling lines with necessary materials and remove finished products
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Follow warehouse and production safety procedures
• Maintain accurate inventory movement records
Skills and Qualifications:
• REQUIRED: Previous winery experience
• Experience operating bottling line machinery and/or forklifts in a winery environment
• Valid forklift certification preferred for forklift positions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Commitment to workplace safety and sanitation standards
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to work in a production and warehouse environment
• Comfortable working around machinery and moving equipment
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
