Job Summary
The East Side Union High School District (ESUHSD) seeks a skilled and passionate battery percussion specialist to work with one or more of the district's high schools Marching Band and/or Winter Percussion programs. Throughout the production, the coach will work alongside the credentialed teacher at District High School, supporting students of varying skill levels. This role includes rehearsal preparation, instruction, and performance support at one or more school sites, contributing to a high-quality production for a diverse student body.

Key Tasks/Duties:
• Direct all aspects of Marching basics to all battery percussion members
• Attend and assist director at rehearsals
• Attend and assist at performances as scheduled with the director
• Foster student creativity, discipline, and teamwork in a culturally responsive and inclusive environment
Other Duties/Responsibilities:
Seasonal tied to a specific season or production
Marching Band=One season/production
Winter Percussion=One season/production
