Job Title: Angular Developer

Location: Miami, FL

Duration: 6-12 month contract

KEY SKILLS:

DEVELOP FRONT END APPLICATIONS WITH JAVASCRIPT, SPECIFICALLY WITH ANGULAR

POSITION IS ABOUT 80% ANGULAR, 20% JAVA.

ANUGLAR 1.0 OR 2.0 REQUIRED. IF THEY HAVE 2.0 IT'S A PLUS

JAVA BACKGROUND IS A PLUS

JASMINE OR KARMA AUTO TEST FRAMEWORKS REQUIRED

Requirements:

Very strong experience developing front-end web applications with JavaScript, specifically Angular

Strong knowledge of object-oriented design principles, design patterns, modeling and OAF

Knowledge of Functional or Automated Testing methods/tools like JUnit and JMeter.

Experience using automated test frameworks like Jasmine and/or Karma

Solid foundation of development best practices, policies and procedures

8+ Years of development experience in a Java environment

Pluses:

Familiarity with Inversion of Control (IoC) and Aspect Oriented Programming (AOP) and frameworks, preferable the Spring framework.

Some knowledge of ADF

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support the development and implementation of custom software applications
  • Provide realistic cost, effort and duration estimates for software development activities
  • End-to-end ownership of discrete development activities (budget, schedule, functionality, quality, technical realization)
  • Provide team leadership towards the completion of development activities on-schedule within budget and per quality expectations
  • Liaise with the Program Management function of the department to provide project estimates, scheduling and completion updates to the customers
  • Oversee activity of staff to ensure that production problems are resolved quickly, ensuring continued accurate system operations. At the team level, meet service level agreements for production support response and resolution.
  • Drive adherence to best practice development processes
  • Act as the project manager of small scale development projects
