Overview
The Concessions Barback plays a key role in supporting bartenders and ensuring efficient beverage service during the American Century Championship. This seasonal, event-based position is responsible for stocking bar supplies, replenishing inventory, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and assisting with setup and breakdown. The ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment while delivering excellent guest service.
This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00
This is a seasonal role from July 6, 2026, and will end on July 12, 2026
This position will remain open until July 12, 2026.
Responsibilities
  • Stock bars with beer, liquor, wine, mixers, ice, glassware, cups, garnishes, and other supplies before, during, and after events.
  • Replenish inventory throughout each shift to ensure bartenders have the supplies needed to provide efficient service.
  • Assist bartenders by retrieving products, changing kegs, and preparing garnishes as needed.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary bar stations, storage areas, and workspaces.
  • Remove empty bottles, trash, and used glassware to keep service areas clean and safe.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including event setup and breakdown.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and company policies.
  • Work closely with bartenders, supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth event operations.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Previous barback, concessions, food and beverage, or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to frequently lift heavy objects and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to follow safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
  • Must maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance while working with large crowds.
  • Must meet the minimum age requirement for alcohol service support as required by state and local regulations.
