Overview
Develops and executes overall Search Engine Optimization (SEO/GEO) strategies for the company websites; collaborates with various teams to drive strategy and business plans for lead generation efforts. Performs organic search and generative engine optimization analytics, strategic planning, and execution of optimization efforts in support of all external company websites, in order to maximize returns. Oversees strategic content generation, deployment and syndication in support of department goals.
Responsibilities
  • Develops overall Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies for various company websites; collaborates with various teams and managers to drive SEO strategy and business plans for lead generation efforts.
  • Develops, manages, executes and analyzes overall Content Strategies for various company websites to support business objectives.
  • Executes SEO tactics, including ongoing evaluation of keywords, content and metadata, campaign performance tracking, and link building for websites to support online lead generation efforts.
  • Implements On-Page and Off-Page SEO strategies to increase the company presence in major Search Engines.
  • Oversees and implements Localization efforts to increase the company web presence for regional searches.
  • Develops and implements Mobile Search strategies to increase mobile web presence.
  • Partner with the Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) testing strategies to improve customer user experience, pathing, and conversion of website traffic.
  • Monitors the usage and effectiveness of the various features/pages of the company web sites, utilizing various web metrics and analytics to provide information and recommendations to business units.
  • Develops and generates weekly and monthly reporting for all major organic search metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other online lead generation activities to ensure ROI and search marketing goals are met.
  • Monitors and administers web analytics dashboards, reports, and reporting tools in order to identify key areas of importance to determine web optimization strategy.
  • Supports business units with online marketing initiatives to ensure effectiveness of product promotions and placement.
  • Collaborates with web designers and web writers to coordinate and perform website optimization through design, content, structure and site architecture recommendations.
  • Ensures the company keeps pace with industry-wide search engine and optimization trends and developments though collaboration with search engine partners, attending webinars and industry events, and conducting online research.
  • Evaluates and leverages new features of 3rd party SEO tools to support online lead generation efforts.
  • Validates data accuracy and resolves any data integrity issues between 3rd party applications and internal systems to ensure lead generation data is accurate.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the general purpose of the position's function.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Statistics, English, Communications, Public Relations or related field - Preferred
  • Experience using a variety of SEO analytics tools, including Google Analytics, Yahoo/Bing Webmaster, SEOmoz, SEO Clarity, Opimizely, Tableau, SEM Rush, Skyward, and Divvy HQ, in B2B environment, and utilizes Content Management Systems.
  • 5 years of experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Content Strategy for moderate to large scale web properties and Experience using analytical tools.
  • Wordpress, Mastery of industry-standard SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Screaming Frog, and others.

Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $78,100 - $122,700 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
