Job description

We’re seeking a proactive SEO Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll drive performance for our clients’ organic search presence while also contributing in sales calls, building strong client relationships, and helping refine SEO processes across the agency. You’ll analyze SEO data and audits, present strategic insights to clients, support new business opportunities, and grow into an increasingly strategic and client-facing role. If you’re motivated, client-focused, and excited to grow your career in a collaborative agency environment, this position is for you.
SEO Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and execute organic search strategies to improve clients’ website traffic, rankings, and overall visibility.
  • Conduct keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO audits, and competitor analysis.
  • Analyze and draw insights from SEO audits and performance data, translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly SEO reporting for clients, clearly connecting insights and performance back to their overarching business, marketing, and digital strategy.
  • Monitor SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
  • Stay up to date with algorithm changes and industry best practices, adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, developers, content strategists, and project managers to ensure SEO recommendations are implemented effectively.
Client Engagement & Growth
  • Assist on sales and discovery calls with prospective clients, helping explain SEO strategy, approach, and value.
  • Support scoping and recommendations for new SEO opportunities during the sales process.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with existing clients, acting as a strategic partner rather than just an executor.
  • Identify opportunities to expand SEO efforts within current accounts by aligning performance insights to client goals.
  • Clearly communicate SEO progress, results, and next steps in a way that clients can understand and act on.
Process Improvement & Professional Growth
  • Help refine, document, and improve internal SEO processes, templates, and reporting frameworks.
  • Contribute to building scalable SEO best practices that support both client growth and agency efficiency.
  • Take initiative to improve how SEO integrates with design, development, and content workflows.
  • Demonstrate motivation to grow in the role, with opportunities to evolve into a senior SEO, strategist, or account-focused position over time.
Who You Are
  • 4–6+ years of experience in SEO or digital marketing (agency experience a plus).
  • Strong understanding of on-page, technical, and off-page SEO fundamentals.
  • Comfortable analyzing data and turning insights into clear strategic recommendations.
  • Confident communicator who enjoys presenting to clients and participating in sales conversations.
  • Organized, proactive, and motivated to take ownership of both strategy and relationships.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience working in a website or digital agency environment.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress and Webflow
  • Basic understanding of UX, conversion optimization, or CRO principles.
  • Exposure to paid search, analytics dashboards, or broader digital marketing strategy.
