Growth Marketer, SEM

Overview

We are seeking a highly hands-on, data-driven Growth Marketer focused on Search Engine Marketing (SEM) to drive performance across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. This role is execution-heavy and ideal for someone who thrives in the platform daily, owns performance outcomes, and is passionate about scaling revenue efficiently.

You will be responsible for building, managing, and optimizing paid search campaigns across domestic and international markets, with a strong focus on ROI, testing, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and optimize SEM campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads

  • Build and manage campaigns, ad groups, keyword structures, and ad creatives

  • Own performance metrics including ROI, CAC, and revenue growth

  • Analyze campaign data and performance trends to drive ongoing optimization

  • Conduct A/B and multivariate testing to improve conversion rates

  • Manage budget pacing and bidding strategies (including automated bidding tools)

  • Identify opportunities to expand into new markets and launch localized campaigns

  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to improve conversion funnels and performance

  • Contribute to internal tools, automation, and workflow improvements

  • Stay current on platform updates, industry trends, and best practices

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on SEM experience managing Google Ads and Microsoft Ads

  • Strong experience with bulk tools such as Google Ads Editor and Microsoft Ads Editor

  • Deep understanding of bidding strategies including tROAS and tCPA

  • Proven ability to build and optimize complex SEM campaigns at scale

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)

  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar

  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability

  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a high-growth or startup environment

  • Background in travel, marketplace, or ecommerce businesses

  • Experience with localization and international campaign expansion

  • Familiarity with attribution modeling and performance measurement frameworks

  • Exposure to AI tools and automation workflows in marketing
