Bodewell Group is seeking a full-time Digital Marketing Account Executive to support the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across government, public affairs, and B2B clients. This role is primarily responsible for coordinating digital advertising, advocacy campaigns, CRM and email marketing, SEO initiatives, analytics reporting, and day-to-day project execution while partnering closely with account teams and digital leadership to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, and aligned with client goals. The ideal candidate has experience managing digital marketing campaigns, strong project management and analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams. Experience with digital advertising platforms, CRM systems, Google Analytics, and marketing automation tools is a plus.

Position:

Location and Travel: This person must be located in San Diego or Seattle. Our offices operate on a hybrid schedule, with 3 days onsite. Availability to work extended hours or weekends when project demands require.


Compensation:

The annual base salary for this position is determined based on several factors, including the candidate's geographic location, experience, qualifications, job-related skills, internal equity, and applicable market conditions.


A typical annual base salary range for this role is $65,000-$85,000. Depending on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and position within the range, the role may be classified as either exempt or non-exempt in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.


Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Serve as internal project manager for digital campaigns, tracking tasks, timelines, budgets, and deliverables across account teams
  • Implement, monitor, and optimize digital ad buys across paid search (PPC), paid social, display, and streaming
  • Support account teams with email marketing strategy and technical execution, including building campaigns, automated workflows, and lead-generation flows in CRM platforms
  • Execute digital grassroots campaigns to influence public policy, increase community engagement, and/or drive stakeholder action
  • Conduct SEO research and implement on-page recommendations and keyword roadmaps
  • Set up and manage client dashboards and reporting
  • Liaise between account teams and creative to produce the assets needed for campaigns
  • Translate campaign analytics into clear insights and actionable recommendations for account teams
  • Stay current on digital marketing trends, tools, and platform changes across paid, SEO, CRM, and analytics
  • Additional duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, or similar required
  • 2-3 years' experience in digital marketing or a related field required; agency experience a bonus
  • Hands-on experience with common analytics tools, including GA4
  • Knowledge of constituent data privacy and compliance best practices, including managing voter, stakeholder, or advocacy databases in accordance with applicable federal, state, and platform-specific regulations
  • Strong CRM/email marketing platform knowledge (HubSpot, Mailchimp, Marketo, etc.) required
  • Working knowledge of paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn) and SEO tools (SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs)
