Looking for a marketing role that combines paid media and SEO?  Join our team and use your Media Buying and SEO/AEO skills to acquire and retain profitable players through various channels.  You will work closely with the creative, business intelligence and product marketing teams to develop highly effective paid campaigns and lead a comprehensive SEO/AEO strategy.  How does that sound to start?

In this role, you will grow your knowledge in User Acquisition (UA) within the mobile app media space and SEO/AEO for different search engines!  You will create and manage partnerships with key platforms to develop and drive media strategies, onboard new channels and execute business critical user acquisition campaigns.  You will manage a 6-figure monthly budget with opportunities to work with new games and new partners. In addition, you will help define and execute SEO/AEO best practices for games across multiple genres. You will be a part of a collaborative growth marketing department that values and rewards both team and individual success!

Your Mission

  • Develop, implement, and manage user acquisition campaigns on iOS, Android and desktop
  • Track, report and analyze metrics, applying learnings to scale campaigns and develop new media strategies
  • Establish collaborative relationships with media partners to launch and test campaigns, expand reach, and meet KPIs 
  • Develop A/B testing programs to maximize acquisition efforts and ROI
  • Actively contribute to the evolution of team processes and workflow
  • Develop and execute SEO/AEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve conversion rates 
  • Track gaming industry trends, search algorithm updates, and competitor strategies to identify growth opportunities
  • Create SEO/AEO reports and communicate performance insights, recommendations, and KPIs to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with developers and web teams to implement SEO/AEO best practices during site updates and feature releases
  • Continue adding skills to your toolkit, including keeping connected to developments in UA, SEO/AEO and marketing
 
Your XP, Badges and Skill Tree
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related technical degree or the equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of digital marketing experience
  • 2+ years of work in SEO/AEO with a track record of positive, measurable results
  • Knowledgeable or experience in digital media buying and/or planning, including:
    • Major mobile ad platforms (Facebook, Adwords, etc.) 
    • Experience or knowledge of CPI, CPA, ROAS, buying
  • Knowledgeable in mobile user acquisition and retention analysis at scale, preferably with free to-play games
  • Knowledge of 3rd party mobile attribution  
  • Experience managing A/B creative tests, incrementality tests, and spend scaling tests
  • Experience conducting analysis on acquisition and retention to deliver against KPI's
  • Ability to learn and understand creative development
  • Strong ability to move quickly and adapt within a direct response business model
  • Strong and solid understanding of SEO/AEO best practices, process and tools including experience with Google Analytics, Ahrefs, etc
  • Strong project management skills
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills, data driven and detail oriented
  • Incredible communication skills with the ability to garner buy-in from multiple levels of management
  • Solid presentation and problem solving skills
  • Proficient with Excel, pivot tables and Power Point

The Payout
DoubleDown's starting salary range for this role is $85,000 - $111,000, plus short term incentives with the opportunity to grow up to $137,000 in annual salary.  Any final compensation will be offered in alignment with the position leveling and range, considering the candidate's specific skills, qualifications & experiences.
