Digital Growth & Search Marketing Specialist

The Digital Growth & Search Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing the organization’s digital presence across Google platforms and other digital channels to increase brand visibility, website traffic, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This role oversees search engine optimization (SEO), paid search campaigns, Google Business Profiles, digital analytics, website performance, and online reputation management while partnering closely with internal teams and external vendors to support organizational growth initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on digital marketing experience and possesses a strong understanding of Google’s marketing ecosystem, search visibility, analytics, and performance marketing best practices.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase website traffic.
  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Optimize website content, metadata, page structure, and technical SEO elements.
  • Monitor search engine algorithm updates and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop search-optimized content and digital campaigns.

Paid Search & Digital Advertising

  • Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns, including Search, Display, YouTube, and retargeting initiatives.
  • Monitor advertising budgets, bidding strategies, and campaign performance metrics.
  • Analyze campaign effectiveness and implement recommendations to improve return on investment (ROI).
  • Coordinate seasonal, promotional, and location-based digital advertising campaigns.

Google Business Profile & Local Search Management

  • Oversee Google Business Profiles and local search presence for all company locations.
  • Ensure accurate business information, hours, photos, and location details are maintained.
  • Improve local search visibility and location-based customer engagement.

Website & Digital Performance Optimization

  • Monitor website traffic, conversion rates, and user behavior through Google Analytics and related platforms.
  • Develop performance dashboards and reporting tools to communicate digital marketing results and trends.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Utilize Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and related tools to monitor performance.
  • Prepare recurring reports outlining traffic trends, campaign performance, customer engagement, and ROI metrics.
  • Present actionable recommendations based on data analysis and business objectives.
  • Track and report key digital marketing KPIs and performance benchmarks.

Digital Strategy & Brand Growth

  • Support the development and execution of the company’s overall digital marketing and online growth strategy.
  • Identify emerging digital marketing trends, technologies, and opportunities.
  • Assist with content strategy, social media integration, and digital customer acquisition initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, E-Commerce, Retail, and Leadership teams.

Vendor & Partner Coordination

  • Serve as the primary internal contact for digital marketing vendors, agencies, and platform partners.
  • Evaluate vendor performance, campaign effectiveness, and service deliverables.
  • Coordinate project timelines, campaign launches, and ongoing optimization efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or related field preferred.
  • 2–4+ years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, paid search, or performance marketing.
  • Strong understanding of Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO best practices.
  • Experience managing digital advertising campaigns and analyzing performance data.
  • Familiarity with website CMS platforms, digital reporting tools, and marketing analytics.
  • Experience supporting multi-location businesses or retail/e-commerce environments preferred.
  • Google Ads and/or Google Analytics certifications preferred.

Compensation

  • The anticipated salary for this position is $70,000 annually; however, the final offer may be higher or lower based on the selected candidate's experience, qualifications, demonstrated skills, and overall alignment with the position requirements.
