Position Overview:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales within an assigned territory through strategic business development, project pursuit, and channel engagement. This role works closely with Extron resellers to identify opportunities, promote Extron solutions, and secure projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify, qualify, and track AV projects from early planning through completion.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with dealers and technology decision makers.
  • Generate demand for Extron solutions through proactive sales calls, presentations, training sessions, and business development activities.
  • Recognize competitive threats and develop strategies to increase adoption of Extron solutions across targeted accounts and projects.
  • Maintain and provide accurate forecasting through CRM tools.
  • Represent Extron at industry events, trade shows, and customer engagement activities.
  • Provide direction to regional sales and support resources to ensure exceptional customer experiences and successful project outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in AV or related industry.
  • Knowledge of commercial AV, IT infrastructure, collaboration technologies, or related industries.
  • Proven success in territory development, consultative sales, and business growth.
  • Experience identifying and managing complex sales opportunities and project-based business.
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems to manage opportunities, forecasts, and customer engagement activities.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • 30% travel is required.
  • BA/BS degree preferred.
