This is a hybrid role that can be located in any of our Verstela markets; Seattle, Portland, Denver, Phoenix, Dallas, San Antonio, Chicago, Indianapolis, Nashville or Memphis.

As our Manager of Strategic Sales, you'll drive new business by partnering with regional and national employers, building long-term client relationships, and delivering staffing solutions across multiple locations. You'll also play a key role in building and developing our sales team, making this an exceptional opportunity for a proven sales leader ready to grow their leadership impact.

You will:

  • Prospect and Identify Opportunities: Scout for new enterprise & strategic sales opportunities and identify key prospects within our target markets.
  • Execute Sales Process: Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing, including needs assessment, proposal presentations, and negotiation.
  • Client Relationship Management: Partner with branch operations to ensure smooth client onboarding and identify opportunities for expanding customer relationships.
  • Team Collaboration: Engage in team selling with branch-based sellers and collaborate with other sales team members and leaders for market intel and lead generation.
  • Build High-Performing Sales Teams: Foster sales excellence through coaching, ongoing training, and performance management while maintaining full accountability for Corporate Sales and SDR results.

Essential Functions:

  • Prospecting: Conduct proactive sales activities, including cold-calling and responding to sales requests.
  • Selling Activity: Execute the company's selling process, attend meetings, and utilize CRM tools for documentation and pipeline management.
  • Revenue Retention and Growth: Ensure successful onboarding of new clients and identify opportunities for revenue growth with existing customers.
  • Coach and Drive Performance: Lead the development and performance of the Corporate Sales and SDR teams through coaching, training, and accountability for achieving sales goals.

You Have:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to influence decision-makers up to C-level executives.
  • Exceptional presentation and closing skills.
  • Proven track record of sales success.
  • Extensive experience in leadership roles in a sales-driven environment
  • Up to 30% travel required to attend key proposal/RFP meetings or events to win new business.

Compensation

Base salary $100-120k with bonus potential.
