Job description

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic sales team. The SDR will play a critical role in generating new business opportunities by identifying, qualifying, and engaging with potential customers. Working closely with the sales and marketing teams, the SDR will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, ensuring a seamless handoff to our Account Executives.

This position is ideal for someone passionate about sales, technology, and making an impact in the SaaS/EHR industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

Identify and research potential leads through various channels, including LinkedIn, CRM databases, curated lists and outbound tools.

Conduct high-volume outreach via cold calls, emails, and social media to engage prospects and qualify leads.

Maintain and update records of leads and prospects in the CRM system.

2. Qualifying Leads

Understand customer needs and pain points to determine if our SaaS/EHR solutions are a good fit.

Use consultative selling techniques to engage decision-makers and qualify prospects for the sales pipeline.

3. Collaboration

Work closely with marketing to follow up on specific inbound leads and nurture prospects through campaigns.

Partner with Account Executives to ensure smooth lead handoffs and support the sales cycle.

4. Data & Reporting

Track and report on outreach activity, lead conversion rates, and other KPIs.

Provide feedback to marketing and sales leadership on lead quality and outreach effectiveness.

Qualifications:

1. Required Skills and Experience:

1+ years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role (SaaS experience preferred).

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive, resilient attitude.

Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and prospecting tools (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo).
