Job description

Make Waves. Lead Adventures. Be the SCUBA Experience Lead at Diventures!

Are you a certified dive pro who lives for the next underwater adventure? Do you thrive in leading people, organizing epic dive programs, and creating moments that leave customers grinning behind their masks? If you're ready to turn passion into purpose, Diventures has the role for you: SCUBA Experience Lead.

This isn't your average dive job, it's your chance to shape the underwater journeys of our customers and dive pros alike. From Try SCUBA classes to exotic travel packages, you'll bring energy, organization, and excellence to every bubble trail.

What You'll Do (aka Your Dive Plan)

As a SCUBA Experience Lead, you're the head of the dive tribe at your location. You'll guide customers from their first breath underwater all the way through their SCUBA journey, and keep them coming back for more.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Owning the Customer Journey: Guide new divers through course offerings, follow up on leads, and promote the excitement of SCUBA like it's your full-time job (because it is!).
  • Scheduling Success: Coordinate courses, instructors, pools, and classrooms to ensure full classes, smooth logistics, and happy divers.
  • Inspiring Excellence: Support and oversee your dive team, ensuring they're operating to Diventures' top-tier expectations through audits, feedback, and quarterly in-water refreshers.
  • Turning Swimmers into Divers: Drive conversion from swim and Try SCUBA students into full-fledged divers with strategic and creative outreach.
  • Sales That Make Sense: Boost revenue through smart course scheduling, gear package sales, and travel tie-ins, all while keeping it fun and customer-focused.
  • Staying Curious: Keep up with the latest in gear, training standards, and industry trends. Lead by example and encourage others to level up.

What Makes You a Great Fit

You're part explorer, part mentor, and part logistics wizard. You have a passion for diving and a knack for motivating others.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Dive Professional or higher
  • Comfortable managing people, projects, and priorities
  • Excited about gear, destinations, and helping customers find the right fit
  • Professional, polished, and positive in every interaction
  • Curious, organized, and always ready to jump in (literally and figuratively)
  • A strong communicator who can connect with beginners and seasoned divers alike

What You'll Love About Diventures

  • A fun, energetic workplace where your passion is your profession
  • Opportunity to lead and shape the SCUBA culture at your location
  • Access to continued training, gear, and professional growth
  • Collaboration with retail, travel, aquatics, and operations teams
  • Discounts on gear, travel, training, and more!
  • A chance to inspire others to dive in - and keep diving

Your Dive Buddy Perks

  • Diventures Way Training and support from the SCUBA Program Director
  • Full access to our SCUBA travel offerings and gear knowledge base
  • Leadership autonomy with full backing from your Store Manager
  • A team that's as adventurous, passionate, and supportive as you are
