Job Description:


Position: Scrum Master III


Type (Contract, C2H): 6 months CTH


Location: Hoover, AL (Hybrid)


Pay range: $48-$50


Day to day:



  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

  • Coach Agile teams on Scrum principles and SAFe best practices

  • Remove blockers and impediments impacting team delivery

  • Partner with Product Owners to support backlog maintenance and prioritization

  • Guide sprint planning, story estimation, and forecasting

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve dependencies and improve communication

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and collaboration

  • Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders while keeping teams focused on delivering value


Must haves:



  • 6+ years of Scrum Master or Agile experience supporting software development teams

  • Strong people skills with experience coaching and mentoring teams

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Come from Banking background

  • Proficient with Jira and Confluence

  • Kanban experience

  • CSM certification required


Pluses:



  • CPSM or SAFe Practitioner certification

  • Mortgage or Consumer Lending experience
