Job description

Project Information:

This position is Contract-To-Hire and Hybrid in Omaha, NE 68106 or Newport Beach, CA 92660. We are only seeking consultants authorized to work on W2.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis, requirement gathering, and solutions design for system integration projects to build a connected digital group benefits ecosystem. Integration solution projects include benefit administration partners, Open Text document and correspondence tools, Salesforce, licensing and contracting systems, and claims vendor integrations to EIS administration system.
  • Work within a Scaled Agile framework, partner with product owners and scrum master to ensure epic and sprint goals are clear, backlog is groomed, and stories are queued up for multiple sprints.
  • Act as an interface on solution design and delivery between the business users and technical team, including integrations solution architect, enterprise architect, API and application engineers, and PL Technology counterparts
  • Synthesize the requirements from business and the design provided by enterprise and solution architect into technical specifications that allow the design to be implemented, and value realized by the business
  • Apply basic data and system analysis principles and work closely with business partners and business analyst to document business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Draft and maintain a variety of technical documentation, including process and data flow diagrams, technical system specifications, sequence flow diagrams, and source to target data mapping documents
  • Provide detailed mappings between API data schemas from vendors to integrate to our APIs and enrollment administration system for new and existing implementations
  • Engage Quality Assurance associates up front during requirements and design to prepare and collaborate on validation test plans including test scenarios and pass/fail success criteria to ensure compliance with user, business, and functional specifications
  • Serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting integration issues. Apply problem solving skills and creativity to uncover root causes, provide solutions and ensure timely resolution
  • Review bug fix and enhancement requests to provide solutions and ensure changes both adhere to design and address root cause of issues
  • Ensure high quality deliverables that meet and exceed business expectations. Provide read-outs on metrics and progress during agile leadership and solution design meetings.

Experience Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in analysis, requirement development, and delivery of API integrations, using MuleSoft or similar technologies, between external vendors and internal systems including administration system, document generation and Salesforce.
  • 8+ years of experience analyzing, providing supporting documentation for designs and build of integration solutions in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong ability to build relationships across the organization and communicate and manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity, and drive efforts forward without fully complete information. Strong execution focused mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to independently prioritize tasks based on customer and team feedback
  • Experience working within Scaled Agile teams and methodologies.

What will make you stand out:

  • 3+ years conducting technical analysis within the Group Benefits industry.
  • Knowledge of EIS administration system, micro-services environments, MuleSoft, and Control-M.
  • Exposure to API security standards and systems like OKTA, OAUTH 2.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, analytics or related field.
