Product Owner (Commercial Property Insurance) Location: Omaha, NE (On-site) Type: Contract GC, USC Onsite interview Agile product ownership with strong business analysis, insurance domain knowledge, stakeholder management, sprint planning, and experience using Azure DevOps/JIRA for requirements and delivery. Job Overview: Seeking a Product Owner to support the Commercial Property Insurance business during the implementation of a new Property system. The PO will translate user needs into functional requirements, define product features, coordinate sprints, and ensure smooth communication between stakeholders and delivery teams. Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and translate business needs into functional requirements and user stories.
  • Define product features, manage backlogs, and oversee product releases.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Lead sprint planning, prioritization, and roadmap execution.
  • Support Business, IT, and Property teams throughout the new system implementation.
  • Perform business analysis, data analysis, and problem-solving activities.
  • Ensure clear communication between stakeholders, developers, and QA teams.
  • Use CI/CD-friendly processes and application lifecycle management tools.
  • Create documentation, analyze workflows, and manage deadlines efficiently.
Required Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Commercial Property Insurance or related insurance products.
  • Experience in business analysis or project management.
  • Excellent team facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to explain, defend, and negotiate product decisions.
