Job Description:

Seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist with specialization in Pediatric Cardiac OR to perform 1st scrub duties for pediatric cardiothoracic cases including Tetralogy of Fallot, transposition of great vessels, and open heart valve repairs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st scrub assistance by handing supplies to the surgeon and counting instruments during procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining a sterile field and prepare instruments and supplies for surgery.
  • Help with back table organization as part of the 2nd scrub role.
  • Float to General OR and assist with cases when not occupied in the CVOR.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of Pediatric CVOR experience in the 1st Scrub Role.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), Basic Life Support (BLS), and WA State License.
  • Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
  • Able to take on-call shifts, requiring a 30-minute response time.
