Database Management, Performance Tuning, Security, Backup and Recovery, Troubleshooting, Database Object Management, Scripting and Automation.
• Strong knowledge of DB2 administration, Understanding of database design, data modelling, and data integrity,
• Experience with SQL tuning and database performance optimization, Familiarity with DB2 utilities (LOAD, REORG, RUNSTATS) and Job Control Language (JCL) for mainframe environments
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex database issues, Ability to document technical designs and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams
• Willingness to provide 24x7 support and participate in on-call duties.
