Job description

What You’ll Do:
 Secure & Optimize Enterprise Networks – Design, deploy, and manage next-generation firewalls (NGFW), network security solutions, and infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments.
 Lead Firewall Migrations & Implementations – Migrate from Cisco, Checkpoint, or Fortinet to Palo Alto or Cisco Firewalls.
 Manage Advanced Network Protocols – Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, and SD-WAN.
 Provide Technical Leadership & Customer Engagement – Work directly with clients to assess needs, develop solutions, and ensure smooth implementations.
 Serve as a Senior-Level Escalation Point – Tackle complex network security challenges and mentor junior engineers.
 Ensure Compliance & Best Practices – Implement security standards such as SOX, SOC2, and PCI, ensuring networks meet regulatory requirements.
 Perform Network Assessments & Optimization – Provide recommendations to improve security, performance, and resilience.
 
 
What You Bring:
 7+ years of experience in network and security engineering, with hands-on work in complex environments.
 Deep expertise in enterprise-grade firewalls – Strong knowledge of Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto NGFW, Cisco ISE, and cloud-based security.
 Strong understanding of network protocols – BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, SD-WAN, VLANs, and advanced routing.
 Certifications preferred – Cisco CCNP, CCDP, or Palo Alto PCNSA, PCNSE.
 Cloud networking experience – Hands-on expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
 Proven ability to work independently and lead projects in a consultant or senior engineering role.
 Excellent communication skills – Comfortable working with clients, explaining technical solutions, and driving results.
 A proactive, problem-solving mindset – Ability to diagnose and resolve network security challenges efficiently.
