Title: NOC Analyst (API scripting/JSON)
Location: Miami, FL (onsite)
Duration: Contract to Hire
Compensation: 25-35 hr

Job Summary

We are seeking two NOC Analysts to join a fast-paced operations team responsible for monitoring critical applications, network infrastructure, and customer-facing technology platforms across a large multi-site retail environment. This role will focus on proactive monitoring, incident identification, troubleshooting, documentation, and escalation management to ensure maximum system availability and operational performance.
The ideal candidate will have prior Network Operations Center (NOC) experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a highly visible support environment. This position requires close collaboration with senior analysts and operational teams to identify root causes, document incidents, and implement preventative measures.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM, plus a rotating weekend shift (approximately two weekends per month, one day Saturday or Sunday) from 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM. Overtime eligible.
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor application, network, and platform health through dashboards and alerting tools.
  • Investigate system performance issues, service disruptions, and operational anomalies.
  • Review network status across multiple locations and coordinate with site personnel to assess and resolve issues.
  • Monitor customer-facing technology platforms and identify service degradation or outages.
  • Diagnose alerts and determine root causes through troubleshooting and analysis.
  • Document incidents, findings, corrective actions, and preventative recommendations in detail.
  • Track recurring issues and work with senior analysts to develop long-term solutions.
  • Escalate critical incidents appropriately and support incident resolution efforts.
  • Analyze trends, error patterns, and operational impacts to improve overall system reliability.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to implement process improvements and reduce future incidents.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
  • Prior experience working in a Network Operations Center (NOC) environment.
  • Experience monitoring multiple applications, systems, and operational dashboards simultaneously.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Experience documenting incidents, investigations, and remediation efforts.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure and connectivity concepts.
  • Experience reviewing alerts, logs, and system performance metrics.
  • Ability to identify operational risks and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production support environment.
  • Ability to work onsite and support evening/weekend monitoring schedules.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience supporting retail, restaurant, hospitality, or multi-site technology environments.
  • Experience monitoring delivery, ordering, or customer-facing digital platforms.
  • Familiarity with DataDog, Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, or similar monitoring tools.
  • Experience with Meraki networking technologies.
  • Exposure to AWS cloud environments.
  • Experience working with DynamoDB.
  • Understanding of kiosk, POS, or retail technology platforms.
  • Experience with delivery aggregators or digital commerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with incident management, problem management, and operational best practices.

  • 2+ years of NOC, operations monitoring, production support, or related technical support experience.
  • Experience supporting distributed networks and multiple business locations.
  • Demonstrated ability to investigate issues, identify trends, and recommend preventative solutions.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with senior technical resources when needed.
