Senior Application Analyst
Full Time, 80 Hours Per Pay Period, Day Shift

Position Summary:
Under general direction, responsible for defining, implementing, and supporting software applications, and interfacing with end-users and other IT groups to identify and resolve application issues.
Responsibilities
  • Formulate / define solution scope and objectives based on user needs. Devise / modify solutions to solve highly complex problems considering technical environment and business needs.
  • Prepare detailed specifications from which applications may be configured, tables built, scripts or programs written.
  • Analyze and revise existing system logic difficulties and document as necessary.
  • Build and maintain application integration points.
  • Lead application software version upgrades and modifications.
  • Assist in establishing systems analysis, programming, and computer operations priorities in order to provide effective service to all application users.
  • Responsible for quality control and auditing of databases to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data. Work directly with users of data to resolve data conflicts and inappropriate data usage.
  • Oversees a small project or phases of a larger project. Responsible for coordinating activities of project team, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project.
  • Document specifications including job flows and data flows.
  • Develop and maintain deep understanding (application and technical environment) of products in order to effectively support customers,
  • Work with Vendors to design and code enhancements to applications.
  • Act as customer advocate with Vendor development.
  • Identify opportunities for effectively satisfying enterprise information needs through automation.
  • Provide reports, information, and data files.
  • Other duties/projects as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Education
AS in computer-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum Experience
Minimum of six (6) years Information Systems or relevant functional area. Requires demonstrated deep understanding of technical computer operations in a client/server environment (for assigned applications). Two (2) years of IT project management
experience.
Licensure Requirement
Professional/clinical licensure (RN, ARRT, etc.) may be required based on assigned applications.
