Job description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test strategies across multiple application touchpoints.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, regression suites, and test utilities.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into detailed test scenarios, test cases, and automation scripts.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and performance testing as required.
  • Implement scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous quality and faster releases.
  • Validate applications across cloud-based environments and multiple system integrations.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira.
  • Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to improve application quality and testability.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
  • Manage changing priorities while effectively communicating testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, test reports, and functional spreadsheets supporting QA and automation activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software testing, QA automation, or SDET roles.
  • Strong experience in both manual testing and test automation.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, regression testing, and automated test design.
  • Experience with Jira, TestRail, or similar test and defect management tools.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience testing cloud-based applications and integrated systems.
  • Ability to design and implement scalable and maintainable automation solutions.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
