Position: Cloud Engineer
Location: Redmond, WA/Remote but candidate should be from PST time zone and open to relocate (Onsite)
Mode: Full-Time
Salary : $110k + Benefits (No Bonus)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Server Performance Benchmarking Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server architecture, performance benchmarking, and cloud environments. You will play a critical role in evaluating and optimizing the performance of Cloud VMs through various benchmarks while enhancing automated benchmarking frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct performance benchmarking for Cloud VMs using tools such as SPEC CPU, SPEC JBB, Stream, NGINX, and more.
  • Modify and execute automated benchmarking scripts to meet evolving requirements.
  • Analyze performance benchmark data and interpret its correlation to underlying hardware architecture.
  • Enhance and extend existing automated benchmarking frameworks to support new benchmarks and use cases.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in server performance benchmarking.
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of server architecture, including CPU, cache, memory, and networking components.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like C#, Java, Python, and SQL.
