We are seeking a skilled Teradata DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated pipelines for Teradata database jobs.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Teradata SQL, BTEQ, Teradata Parallel Transporter (TPT), and DevOps tools to streamline deployment, testing, and monitoring of Teradata workloads in a CI/CD environment.

• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for Teradata jobs using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or similar.

• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot Teradata SQL scripts, BTEQ, and TPT jobs.

• Integrate Teradata job execution into DevOps pipelines with proper error handling and logging.

• Collaborate with database administrators, developers, and QA teams to ensure smooth deployment and testing.

• Manage version control of Teradata scripts and configuration files.

• Implement environment-specific parameterization and secure credential management.

• Monitor job execution, analyze failures, and implement corrective actions.

• Document processes, pipeline configurations, and best practices.

• Stay updated with Teradata and DevOps tool advancements and recommend improvements.

• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their database services.

 • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
