Job description

Position Responsibilities * Support each Information Warfighter Exercise (IWX) as a member of the Exercise Control Group (ECG) throughout each stage of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC).
  • Provide facilitator and mentor support during the planning and execution of PSYOP through the seven-phase PSYOP process.
  • Support exercise planning, coordination, preparation, execution, evaluation, analysis, wargaming, and after-action reporting across the exercise life cycle.
  • Coordinate and assist exercise control groups during scenario design, exercise preparation, field execution, and evaluation.
  • Ensure training events meet established learning objectives and exercise outcomes.
  • Serve as an Operational Planning Team (OPT) or working group lead during planning events.
  • Guide planning activities in accordance with Marine Corps and Joint doctrine.
  • Assist with the development, synchronization, and oversight of the Master Scenario Events List (MSEL).
  • Support the facilitation and management of role players, including script briefings, lane training oversight, and personnel movement coordination.
  • Provide PSYOP subject matter expertise for IWX and Service Level Training Exercise, PSYOP (SLTE-P) events.
  • Capture observations and provide feedback for After Action Reviews (AARs).
  • Assist in developing and submitting ad-hoc reports, exercise summaries, and other required documentation.
Support off-site planning events, field exercises, and periodic CONUS or OCONUS travel as required. Required Qualifications U.S. citizenship.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Minimum high school diploma.
  • Minimum 6 years of related experience.
  • Direct experience leading or supporting PSYOP exercise control groups.
  • Experience with scenario design, exercise preparation, exercise execution, analysis, and wargaming.
  • Experience supporting the full exercise life cycle, including planning, evaluation, and after-action reporting.
  • Experience developing and submitting ad-hoc reports.
  • Familiarity with JELC, MSEL development, OPT or working group support, and exercise control group operations.
  • Ability and willingness to work on-site in Quantico, VA.
Ability and willingness to travel periodically for off-site, CONUS, and OCONUS exercise support. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree.
  • Prior experience supporting the Marine Corps, MCIOC, MAGTF, or Marine Corps information operations training environments.
  • Prior experience with Information Warfighter Exercise (IWX) or similar IO/OIE exercise events.
  • Formal PSYOP, MISO, IO, or exercise planning training.
  • Experience as a PSYOP planner, MISO planner, IO planner, exercise planner, observer/controller, trainer, or facilitator.
  • Experience supporting role player management, lane training, scripting, inject development, and scenario adjudication.
  • Experience preparing AARs, exercise observations, lessons learned, and training effectiveness feedback.
  • Knowledge of Marine Corps and Joint doctrine related to PSYOP, MISO, OIE, IO, and wargaming.
