Job Summary:
Synergy ECP, headquartered in Columbia, Maryland, is a leading provider of cybersecurity, software and systems engineering, and IT services to the U.S. intelligence and defense communities. The Configuration Manager will be responsible for the configuration management of developmental and operational systems, ensuring the implementation of policies and procedures throughout the systems' life cycles.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Responsible for configuration management (CM) of developmental and operational systems.
โ€ข Works on developmental and operational teams to create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.) supporting developmental and operational systems.
โ€ข Uses or recommends automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures.
โ€ข Develops or modifies CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the development or acquisition systems.
โ€ข Implements CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life.
โ€ข Perform change control and configuration audits.
โ€ข Assist in implementing hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures.
โ€ข Assist in the use of configuration management tools (e.g. DOORS, Eclipse) to store, track, and manage configuration items.
โ€ข Understand basic concepts, and assist in documenting hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures.

Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 8 years of CM experience in programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in a technical or business discipline
โ€ข Masterโ€™s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience (reducing requirement to 6 years)
โ€ข 4 additional years of CM experience may substitute for a Bachelorโ€™s degree
โ€ข 1 year of experience using a source code control system required if supporting a developmental program
โ€ข TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
