Description
SUMMARY: ALG is seeking a Screen Print press operator with knowledge and experience in the screen printing process. Experience in apparel screen printing, with multi-color and/or automatic press will be considered in lieu of flatbed and cylinder printing press experience. Equipment is M&R flatbeds and Sakurai cylinder press. Prior printing experience required.
FUNDAMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
โ€ข Operate production equipment safely and efficiently, producing quality products.
โ€ข Inspection of product produced to job specifications and quality standards
โ€ข Receives production order and job assignments from supervisor or lead.
โ€ข Obtains needed supplies to produce job.
โ€ข Completes production records as required by company guidelines.
โ€ข Ensures cleanliness of work area.
โ€ข Project positive and professional behavior/attitude
โ€ข Additional tasks/duties/special projects may be assigned, as necessary
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
โ€ข Mechanical aptitude
โ€ข Ability to solve routine production issues
โ€ข Ability to operate and adjust mechanical equipment to maintain quality and speed
โ€ข Work independently with little supervision
โ€ข Detail Oriented
โ€ข Good color perception
โ€ข Able to make good decisions when problems present themselves
โ€ข Multi task - the ability to handle multiple tasks in fast paced environment
โ€ข Basic computer skills.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
โ€ข Screen printing experience required
โ€ข High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
โ€ข Minimum 1 year operating screen printing equipment in a manufacturing setting
โ€ข Screen printing automatic press operator experience, a plus
โ€ข Digital or Graphic screen printing experience, a plus
โ€ข Cylinder press operation, a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
โ€ข Ability to regularly lift/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds.
โ€ข Bending and twisting for 8 hours of more
โ€ข Standing and walking for 8 hours or more
Good color perception
