Job description

Role: Graphic Designer 1 — Production Artist

Location: Beaverton, OR (Onsite)

4+ Months Contract

This one's for the designers who get excited about clean layers, exact dimensions, and files that come back from the factory perfect the first time.

A global sportswear leader is looking for a Production Artist to join their Footwear Digital Design team. You'll take graphics from the design team and execute them for production — building tech pack schematics and making the calls that turn artwork into product.

What you'll do:

✅ Execute graphics from the design team for production

✅ Build tech pack schematics

✅ Label design dimensions, separate layers, maintain product design files

✅ Make strong technical design decisions under production constraints

What you'll bring:

🔹 1+ years in schematic or graphic production design — packaging, print, footwear, technical graphic design, book design, or typography

🔹 Graphic Design degree or similar

🔹 A portfolio that shows process work — technical, print, book, or product design

🔹 Adobe Illustrator

Bonus points for:

⭐ Pre-press, Color separations, screen printing, trims, printing process

⭐ Typography depth

⭐ Footwear interest (experience not required)

Portfolio note: the team is looking for technical, process-driven work. Illustration-heavy, branding-heavy, or concept-only portfolios aren't the fit here.
