Position:

As a Screen Print Operator , this role is responsible for assisting with the production of screen-printed material. This includes the production, coating, and cleaning of screens used in the screen-printing process, quality checking finished products based on customer specifications, assisting with press loading material and applying ink to screens, and the movement of material throughout the facility,.

Essential Functions:
  • Reviews work order, observes specifications and any special notes and prepares work area to start to print multi-color work.

  • Direct physical activity is required to maintain their productivity while meeting the highest quality specifications.

  • Quality check decorated garments based on customer specifications.

  • Assist the press operator by loading material on the press, applying ink to screens, changing squeegees, and pre-counting material before decoration based on the paperwork.

  • Operation of machinery used to coat, reclaim, image, and develop screens used in the screen-printing process.

  • Move material into staging locations throughout the facility using a pallet jack and RF scanner.

  • Ensures that their area and equipment are kept clean, and wiped down with press wash at least once per week.

  • Utilize all personal protective equipment as required for personal safety and the safety of their peers.

  • Other duties as assigned

Work Experience:

Required Experience: 1 to 2 years

  • Must be able to follow orders and proper machine operating.

  • Learn tasks quickly, be detailed, accuracy-driven, personable, team-oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance.

  • Candidates are required to differentiate and coordinate colors.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods. Repetitive movement of the body is required regularly. The position requires lifting of no less than 15-35 lbs. regularly. Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
