Job Title: Quality Manager

Salary Range: Approximately $100,000-$120,000 (depending on experience)

Job Overview

Seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead all aspects of the Quality Management System while serving as the primary quality representative to customers around the world. This is a highly visible leadership position responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, leading continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining ISO quality systems, and driving manufacturing excellence.

This role goes well beyond managing quality systems. The Quality Manager will serve as the face of the organization for customer quality matters, working with demanding global transportation and industrial customers while partnering internally with Production, Engineering, Maintenance and Supply Chain to improve quality performance, reduce scrap, improve yields, and strengthen operational excellence.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive Quality Management experience within manufacturing
  • Experience managing ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
  • Experience leading customer audits and certification audits
  • Strong knowledge of root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, PFMEA)
  • Experience with SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP, Control Plans and Lean Manufacturing
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent customer communication skills
  • Experience supervising Quality Technicians and Inspectors
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality or related technical discipline preferred
  • ITAR environment and must be US Citizen

Preferred Requirements

  • Automotive manufacturing, aerospace, or similar regulated manufacturing environment
  • IATF 16949 experience
  • ASQ CQE or CMQ/OE Certification
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
  • ISO Lead Auditor Certification
  • Experience working directly with demanding OEM or international customers
