Scrap Crane Operator- 2,500 Sign on Bonus!
Join our team as a Scrap Crane Operator and play a key role in keeping yard operations running efficiently. In this position, you will be responsible for sorting scrap materials, loading trucks and balers, and operating E-crane or crawler crane equipment to ensure smooth material flow across the yard. Schedule
  • Monday - Friday: 5:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Saturday: 5:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location
700 S Main St, Niles, OH
What You'll Bring (Required)
  • 2 plus year's experience operating mobile or crawler cranes (Liebherr, Sennebogen or Link-Belt)
  • Knowledge of scrap metal types and grading
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Basic math, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support others
  • Ability to follow and communicate instructions clearly
  • Ability to meet physical requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation)
  • High School Diploma or GED

What You'll Do
  • Sort scrap materials by type and quality
  • Operate E-crane or crawler crane to load trucks, railcars, and balers
  • Move crane equipment throughout the yard as needed
  • Maintain material flow by cleaning out scrap spreads
  • Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a team-focused environment
  • Support continuous improvement efforts across yard operations
