About the Team and Opportunity
As a Senior Product Manager at Tandems, you will help lead Tandems’ next chapter by embedding AI thinking and capabilities across our suite of products and shaping how financial advisors work in the age of intelligence.

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role at the heart of Tandems’ transformation. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Data Science, Design, Research, and Business stakeholders to define and deliver products that blend machine learning, behavioral insights, and human-centered design.

You’ll drive innovation not only within a specific product area but also across the company, influencing how we conceptualize and integrate AI across our ecosystem, from advisor tools to client engagement and portfolio management experiences.
Why Work for Us
  • We are 100+ employees strong and growing. Our world-class team is supported by an industry-savvy board and an executive team of diverse background and experience across financial services and technology.
  • We offer competitive benefits that include Flexible PTO, Wellness benefits, Mobile/Internet subsidy, Employee Recognition Programs, and more!
  • We are a remote-first company! We have regional hubs nationwide,  with presence in 4 Countries:  United States, Canada, India, and Singapore.

  • We are guided by our core values: Customer Delight, Make It Happen, Think Big, and We Over Me. Read more about our core values and how we live them every day on our website here.
How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Shape the AI vision for advisor success: Lead the roadmap for products that use intelligence and automation to transform the financial advice industry.
  • Infuse AI across Tandems’ ecosystem: Partner with other Product, Engineering, and Data Science leaders to define how AI enhances user experiences and outcomes across all existing and future products.
  • Translate intelligence into action: Work with data scientists to turn model outputs into intuitive product experiences that create measurable real-world value.
  • Champion responsible AI: Define and advocate for principles around transparency, fairness, and explainability in every product we build.
  • Experiment and iterate: Use data and user feedback to drive hypotheses, run experiments, and evolve features that deliver measurable advisor and business impact.
  • Collaborate broadly: Partner across design, marketing, and customer success to ensure product experiences are cohesive, valuable, and aligned with Tandems’ mission.
Ideal Person for this Role
  • 5–10+ years in a product-focused role, ideally building and shipping enterprise, B2B, or platform products at scale.
  • Systems thinker with the ability to understand how product decisions influence data flows, adjacent teams, and end-to-end user journeys.
  • AI-curious and fluent, comfortable discussing models, ML-driven UX patterns, and data-powered product experiences (no coding required).
  • Human-centered mindset grounded in empathy, user research, and designing technology that enhances—not replaces—human expertise.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative insights to prioritize effectively and measure impact.
  • Execution excellence, with a track record of balancing strategy and detail, making tradeoffs, and delivering in fast-moving environments.
  • Technical curiosity, able to dive into data models, APIs, and system architecture to understand how intelligence becomes value.
  • Data-driven and outcome-oriented, using metrics, experimentation, and evidence to drive decisions.
  • Collaborative leadership, with extensive experience influencing and partnering across engineering, design, data, sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with remote or distributed teams; FinTech or startup experience is a plus.
