Your Responsibilities
  • Administering comprehensive assessments of patients, arranging diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care strategies
  • Diagnosing and managing acute, ongoing, or episodic medical conditions independently or in consultation with physicians (depending on your credentials)
  • Informing patients and families about prevention, wellness, and managing health conditions
  • Prescribing necessary medications and treatments as per your scope of practice
  • Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic disease management strategies
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver unified, holistic patient care
  • Accurately documenting within electronic health records (EHR)
Qualifications You'll Need
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Required Credentials
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Wisconsin
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or applicable specialty
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or able to acquire within 90 days)
