Guides students through layer-based editing, creating and refining selections, applying adjustment layers, retouching portraits, compositing multiple images, and preparing files for various output formats. Emphasizes non-destructive workflow principles and connects Photoshop skills to photography, advertising, web design, and fine art applications.
  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with Photoshop curricula and common challenges such as understanding layers and masks, making precise selections, and managing file resolution for different outputs. Adapts instruction using step-by-step tutorials, project-based assignments, and real-world editing scenarios to support students from Photoshop beginners through advanced users developing professional image editing and digital compositing skills.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
