We are seeking a storyteller with a passion for amplifying impactful work to join our team as a Digital Content Creator! Located at the UAMS Institute for Community Health Innovation in Springdale, AR, you'll be tasked to bring our programs and initiatives to life across various platforms.
In this role, you will:
- Plan, develop, and publish engaging content that showcases the institute's research and programmatic successes.
- Create multimedia stories through feature profiling, social media, podcasting, and video.
- Collaborate with design and multimedia staff to ensure content aligns with brand standards, accessibility requirements, and user experience best practices.
The ideal candidate will have experience in telling stories through various mediums and a knack for crafting content that resonates with audiences. If you're skilled in social media, audio/visual production, and written storytelling, we want to hear from you!

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, graphic design, public health, or related field, plus one (1) year of experience creating written and digital content for external audiences.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience and skills in communicating proactively with team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Ability to work in an environment where processes are being defined and contribute to the overall development and improvement of project management processes
  • Ability to perform with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrable experience creating and maintaining project documentation, including, but not limited to, schedules, work breakdown structures, issues and risks assessments, budget reporting, follow-up reports, team communications, and overall project reporting

Key Responsibilities:
  • Works with the team to design and produce creative materials that build external awareness of the Institute for Community Health Innovation, including stories and success stories to be distributed through the ICHI website, social media channels, and other digital methods.
  • Assist multimedia team in production of communications materials, including presentations, photography, animations, and video elements.
  • Works with the team on required evaluation, reports, and success stories throughout the year.
  • Participate regularly in trainings to stay up-to-date on current outreach trends and strategies
  • May perform other duties as assigned
