  • Staying up to date and incorporating learnings from IIBA, or other industry standard entities, for software development best practices.
  • Supporting Requirements Engineering team leadership in Yahara’s Requirements Practice development efforts.
  • Working in collaboration with technical team and project coordinator for requirements gathering and story definition.

 What You’ll Bring:

  • 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Business or a field related to STEM or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience working on IT applications in a Requirements Engineer or Business Analyst role or demonstratable experience with IT application requirements gathering and documentation via application solution development, design, documentation or testing.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) concepts.
  • Experience working within the software development lifecycle in an Agile environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience delivering formal presentations.

  • A high degree of initiative and ownership, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and cultivate lasting relationships; proven experience working effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to identify roadblocks, escalate appropriately, and drive issues to resolution.
  • Familiar with AI uses within the requirements workflow to speed up research, draft documentation, and structure initial user stories.
  • Application of critical judgment to AI-generated output, validating it against client conversations and domain knowledge before relying on it.
  • Actively looks for better tool uses or approaches and proposes them.
