Data Scientist
Aversan Inc.(www.aversan.com) is a trusted multi-service engineering and electronics manufacturing company. Aversan delivers leading-edge and reliable safety-critical electronics and software systems to the aerospace, defence, and space industries.
We are currently seeking a qualified Data Scientist to join our team to support Operational Excellence initiatives within Global Procurement and Supply Management (GPSM). Your primary mission will be to structure, analyze, and automate, while contributing to the development of an LLM-based AI agent to accelerate document analysis, data qualification, and internal decision-making.

ResponsibilitiesData & Analytics
  • Manipulate, structure, and ensure reliability of supplier and procurement performance data
  • Build robust Power BI data models using Power Query and DAX
  • Develop end-to-end reporting (Excel / Power Query / Power BI)
  • Define data standardization rules, quality controls, and governance practices
  • Translate complex data into decision-ready insights for non-technical stakeholders
Automation & AI
  • Contribute to the design and development of an LLM-based AI agent supporting procurement operations (e.g., document analysis, data qualification, productivity use cases)
  • Prepare data foundations to enable future AI and advanced analytics capabilities
You will work closely with procurement leaders, IT, and implementation partners, with a strong focus on impact, autonomy, and tangible results.Basic Qualifications
Experience
  • 3-5+ years in data analytics, BI, or operations analytics within an MRP-driven environment
  • Strong understanding of procurement data (BOMs, suppliers, lead times, inventory, contracts, spend, POs, invoices)
Education
