Job Description

are seeking an experienced Project Management Information Systems Implementation Lead to lead the strategic implementation, optimization, and adoption of Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) across our project portfolio. This senior role focuses on driving digital transformation in project delivery by implementing enterprise-grade tools such as Procore, Kahua, Trimble Unity Construct, and similar platforms. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in project controls, has a strong understanding of Project Management Offices (PMOs) operational needs, and excels at defining and institutionalizing best practices in project execution, data governance, and performance reporting. This is a leadership position that combines advanced business analysis, systems implementation, change management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full lifecycle implementation of PMIS platforms, including requirements gathering, system configuration, integration with existing enterprise systems (ERP, scheduling, document management, etc.), data migration, testing, training, and post-go-live support.
  • Partner with project controls, operations, finance, and executive stakeholders to define digital strategies that enhance project visibility, cost control, schedule performance, risk management, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Support the development of PMO frameworks, including standardized processes, templates, workflows, dashboards, and governance structures that leverage PMIS capabilities to drive consistency and efficiency across projects.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on project controls best practices, advising on earned value management (EVM), cost forecasting, change order management, document control, and performance analytics.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and lead the integration of multiple PMIS tools to create a cohesive digital ecosystem tailored to organizational needs.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure high user adoption, including training programs, role-based workflows, and ongoing support models.
  • Review and optimize the work of project teams and junior analysts; provide guidance, resolve complex issues, and escalate when necessary.
  • Participate in the planning and development of digital strategy and policy related to project delivery systems and data management.
  • Conduct special projects related to process improvement, system enhancements, and performance reporting with minimal supervision.
  • Work under general direction while handling complex, high-impact initiatives independently.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or related field plus 8+ years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency through experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong background in project controls on medium-to-large scale capital projects.
  • Proven track record leading PMIS implementations that support PMOs and standardized project delivery processes.
  • Experience implementing multiple PMIS platforms (Procore, Kahua, Trimble Unity Construct, Oracle Primavera Cloud, Autodesk Construction Cloud, etc.).
  • Deep knowledge of project management best practices, controls methodologies, and digital tools used in the AEC industry.
  • Demonstrated success in driving organizational change and user adoption of new technology platforms.
  • PMP, similar certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with data analytics, reporting dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), and system integrations (APIs, etc.).
