Practice Overview

Sachs Policy Group (SPG) is a New York-based advisory firm focused on the crossroads of public policy, technology, and business strategy within the healthcare sector. The SPG is a part of Ankura's Global Strategic Advisory team. SPG's experts have a deep understanding of the impact of policy, legislation and regulation as well as shifts in the competitive landscape across the healthcare sector. The integration of SPG's offerings and services, including state and federal policy analysis, strategic planning, and health equity impact assessments, will enhance our ability to deliver tailored solutions that address the unique challenges faced by healthcare and life sciences clients, including navigating public policy changes, technological advancements, and competitive market dynamics.

Role Overview

This position is based in Albany, New York and is at the Director level within our internal structure.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analysis of public policies, legislation, and regulations impacting the healthcare sector.
  • Work with senior leadership to develop policy recommendations and strategic guidance for clients, considering the intersection of technology, business strategy, and public policy.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to provide expert advisory services and to deliver insights and solutions tailored to their unique circumstances and goals.
  • Lead research initiatives to explore emerging trends in healthcare policy, technology advancements, and competitive dynamics.
  • Work with senior leadership to produce high-quality reports and presentations that offer actionable insights for clients.
Additional responsibilities as assignedRequirements

  • Masters Degree or higher preferred
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Travel is minimal
