Job description

Summary

Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Nurse Recruitment Specialist plays a key role in delivering exceptional staffing services for Parkview Health. Is responsible for attracting and securing top nursing talent through innovative and effective recruitment strategies and assists with other duties as assigned.

In collaboration with the broader Talent Acquisition team, helps plan and execute systemwide nursing recruitment initiatives focused on recruiting experienced nurses. Places a strong emphasis on relationship‑building, candidate engagement, and promoting Parkview Health to experienced nurses. Actively participates in the recruiting cycle including candidate outreach, attending recruitment events and conferences, representing Parkview at job fairs, and engaging in other outreach opportunities— all to strengthen Parkview’s nursing pipeline and elevate the Parkview Health brand within the nursing community.

Education

Requires a Diploma in Nursing or an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Licensure/Certification

Valid Registered Nurse License preferred for the State where services will be provided. Must have current CPR certification.

Experience

3+ years experience working as a licensed RN required. Previous experience working in nursing leadership preferred. Previous experience in recruiting is preferred. Demonstrated experience or leading strategic initiatives from implementation to completion.

Other Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge or ability to learn and be trained in full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, employment law, wage and salary trends, and relationship management. Demonstrated working knowledge or ability to learn and be trained on server- based applicant tracking systems and other related technology. Working knowledge or ability to learn and be trained on Microsoft Office suite of applications, Internet, and online sourcing also required. Must possess or learn and maintain sufficient knowledge of recruitment processes and procedures to maintain credibility with team members, hiring leaders, and department leaders.
