  • Translate customer and market needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and prioritization decisions for engineering teams.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineering, data science, and UX teams to deliver high-impact capabilities across maritime intelligence, risk detection, geospatial analytics, and operational decision support.
  • Support customer engagements, demonstrations, industry events, and strategic initiatives alongside solutions, business development, and executive leadership teams.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis across defence technology, maritime domain awareness, AI-enabled command-and-control systems, and adjacent dual-use technology markets.

  • Strong understanding of defence, security, naval, coast guard, intelligence, or public sector operational environments.
  • Experience working with complex software platforms, AI-enabled systems, geospatial technologies, analytics products, or operational technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into product strategy and technical requirements.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX, data science, and commercial teams.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Defence Studies, Business, or a related discipline.

BONUS POINTS

  • Experience working with Canadian Armed Forces, NATO, Five Eyes, Coast Guard, defence primes, or maritime security organizations.
  • Familiarity with maritime domain awareness, ISR, geospatial intelligence, AIS, satellite data, or operational command systems.
  • Familiarity with the maritime supply chain, including commercial shipping, port logistics, terminal operations and other marine support services
  • Experience in dual-use technology companies or defence innovation environments.
  • Background in AI/ML-enabled products, data platforms, or advanced analytics solutions.
  • Experience supporting government procurement processes, RFPs, or defence capability programs.
  • Existing Canadian security clearance or eligibility for Secret clearance.
  • Experience working in Agile product development environments.
