Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Academic-Scientific Affairs Engagement Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our department by facilitating critical engagement support. You will be responsible for managing expectations while overseeing complex task management, resource allocation, and budget coordination. By implementing best practices and continuous improvement methodologies, you will ensure that all departmental engagements are executed efficiently and aligned with our organizational objectives.

In this dynamic role, you will be the bridge between internal CommonSpirit Health resources and external vendors, fostering strong collegial relationships to drive project success. Your daily focus will involve supporting the implementation of strategic solutions that directly contribute to positive customer outcomes and engagement goals. You will act as a key communicator, coordinating high-level meetings and events while maintaining a clear vision of project milestones to ensure all stakeholders remain informed and aligned.

Success in this position requires a proactive approach to performance measurement and risk mitigation. You will take the lead in coordinating the reporting of ROI and success metrics, providing data-driven insights that allow our leadership team to respond quickly to new opportunities, risks, and operational challenges.   • Demonstrate exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage scope, timelines, and cross-departmental budgets effectively.

  • Develop and implement standardized engagement plans and operational best practices to optimize departmental efficiency.
  • Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and ROI, providing actionable data to support leadership decision-making.
  • Facilitate high-impact academic and scientific affairs meetings and events, ensuring clear communication and organizational alignment.
  • Proactively identify project risks and develop contingency solutions to ensure consistent fulfillment of all engagement goals.
Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelors in Business, Healthcare, or other related field or a combination of education and/or additional job related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree
  • Minimum two (2) years with hospital or business corporate operations
