We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 1st - 8th grade Computer Science Homeschool Enrichment Teacher to join our dynamic team 2026 - 2027 school year. The 1st - 8th grade Computer Science Homeschool Enrichment Teacher inspires young learners to explore, create, and innovate through technology. This educator designs and delivers engaging lessons that build foundational computer science and robotics skills-including coding, digital literacy, problem-solving, and computational thinking-within a collaborative, hands-on learning environment. The teacher fosters curiosity, creativity, and resilience while connecting technology concepts to real-world applications and STEM disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
  • The 1st - 8th grade Computer Science and Robotics Homeschool Enrichment Teacher inspires young learners to explore, create, and innovate through technology. This educator designs and delivers engaging lessons that build foundational computer science skills-including coding, digital literacy, problem-solving, and computational thinking-within a collaborative, hands-on learning environment. The teacher fosters curiosity, creativity, and resilience while connecting technology concepts to real-world applications and STEM disciplines.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture that values exploration, teamwork, and perseverance.
  • Assess learning through performance-based tasks, observations, and reflective discussions rather than traditional grades.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to align STEM integration and share best practices across grade levels.
  • Assess student learning through formative observations, project outcomes, and reflective discussions rather than traditional grades.
  • Maintain an inclusive and positive classroom culture that values curiosity, exploration, and innovation.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Computer Science, STEM Education, or a related field.
  • Valid state teaching license or endorsement in Computer Science, STEM, or Elementary Education.
  • Experience teaching or integrating technology and coding with elementary students.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to fostering an equitable, innovative, and hands-on learning environment.

Essential Physical Requirements:

Schedule:
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays; four 8 week sessions from late August until May
  • Includes 5 professional development and room set up days
  • 2- Friday field trips each 8 week session
  • Total working days 82 days (August- May)
  • 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
  • This is a part time position.

This position will be open until filled, but will not be open past: August 31, 2026.
The pay range for this role is:
268.29 - 554.87 USD per day (Main)
