We are looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead a warehouse team and help ensure safe, efficient, and accurate operations within our distribution center.
McCue Corporation is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a designated warehouse department, including picking, packing, and boxing activities. This position is responsible for leading a team, maintaining safety and quality standards, driving productivity, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, including picking, packing, boxing, and order preparation for shipment.
  • Ensure customer orders are completed accurately and shipped in a timely manner.
  • Lead, coach, train, and develop warehouse team members.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing performance feedback.
  • Enforce company safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure team members are properly trained and certified on material handling equipment, including forklifts and scissor lifts.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and workflow to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Approve timesheets and manage daily staffing assignments.
  • Respond to employee concerns and resolve operational issues.
  • Utilize warehouse systems, scanning technology, and cutting equipment to support operations.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to improve overall warehouse performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company operational, safety, and administrative policies.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1 - 3 years' experience in warehousing required; previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects (occasionally between 60 - 75 lbs.) with or without reasonable accommodation for an entire shift)
  • Must be able to work regularly at a height of up to 26 feet above the ground (with provided safety equipment/processes/training)
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to multitask
  • Possess excellent judgment and decision-making skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient using GP
  • Possess strong PC skills in Word and Excel
  • Capacity to effectively plan workload and staff assignments
