• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate clients' presenting concerns, backgrounds, and goals, utilizing standardized tools and effective communication techniques.
• Provide high-quality individual therapy sessions, as well as couple and family interventions, primarily using evidence-based modalities like cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness approaches, and narrative therapy.
• Collaborate closely with students, parents, and educational staff to develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client while aligning with educational goals.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and adjustments to the therapeutic approach, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and workshops to stay abreast of contemporary practices in mental health and education.
• Build and nurture a therapeutic alliance with clients that fosters trust, open communication, and a collaborative approach to their mental health journey.
• Offer practical guidance, coping strategies, and support to help clients navigate life challenges, especially those specific to the academic environment.

In this role, you will primarily serve the student population, addressing a variety of mental health concerns specific to young individuals and their families. These may include anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, relationship dynamics, and the impact of educational pressures. Your ability to engage with clients in a school setting will help integrate mental health support into their academic experience, ensuring holistic development and emotional resilience.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in a private practice or educational setting.
• Excellent clinical assessment skills, strong treatment planning capabilities, and experience with diverse therapeutic modalities.
• Outstanding communication abilities and empathetic interpersonal skills essential for building trust with clients and their families.

• Experience working directly with adolescents and children in a therapeutic context.
• Familiarity with school systems and the unique challenges faced by students.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective intervention strategies tailored to individual client needs.
