Friendly Care P.C. is actively seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our team remotely. This position is entirely remote, leveraging teletherapy to connect with clients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health conditions and treatment needs.
• Craft and implement tailored treatment plans that align with clients' aspirations and therapeutic objectives.
• Provide one-on-one psychotherapy for adult clients using evidence-based and solution-focused modalities tailored to individual needs.
• Utilize teletherapy platforms to deliver virtual sessions effectively while maintaining a strong therapeutic alliance.
• Offer timely crisis intervention services and support clients through their most challenging moments.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and team meetings, staying informed about the latest in mental health best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Friendly Care P.C., you will work primarily with adult clients who present a diverse array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. You will have the chance to establish impactful therapeutic relationships and guide clients towards achieving their mental health goals within a compassionate and non-judgmental framework.

Qualifications

• A current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is essential.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and collaboration with colleagues.
• A compassionate, empathetic demeanor coupled with a non-judgmental approach towards clients’ experiences.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to manage workload efficiently.
• No history of disciplinary actions with relevant licensing boards.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in delivering telehealth services to clients including proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for therapy.
• A background in working with diverse populations and varying mental health conditions.
• Previous experience in a community health setting is highly desirable.
