Student Transport Solutions

Private School Transportation Driver

(Part-Time Hours, Full-Time Pay Potential)

Our Mission

We believe every child deserves a safe, reliable, and caring journey to and from school—especially those with special needs who require extra attention and understanding.

For the 2026–2027 school year, we’re looking for compassionate, safety-focused drivers to join our team in making a daily difference in the lives of students and their families.

The Impact You'll Make

As a Special Needs School Transportation Driver, you are more than just a driver—you are a trusted part of each student’s day.

You’ll ensure they arrive at school and home safely, on time, and with a friendly face to greet them.

Your role will directly support their education by removing transportation barriers and giving parents peace of mind.

What You'll Do

  • Safely transport assigned students to and from school on a consistent schedule:
  • 7:00–9:00AM and 2:00–4:00 PM (Monday–Friday, school year only).
  • Commit to a full school-year route for students, building trust and familiarity.
  • Operate your own reliable vehicle, equipped with a school sign, logo, and dashcam (provided by us).
  • Follow all safety protocols for transporting special needs children, including the use of specialized equipment (training provided).
  • Maintain accurate trip logs and communicate promptly with dispatch regarding any delays or concerns.
  • Represent our organization professionally in the community.

What You'll Bring

  • A valid Ohio driver’s license with fewer than 6 points on your record.
  • A reliable, well-maintained vehicle suitable for transporting students.
  • Willingness to display school signage and logo on your vehicle during routes.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Compassion, patience, and professionalism when working with children—especially those with special needs.
  • Commitment to punctuality and reliability.
  • Willingness to work as a 1099 independent contractor and be paid per trip.

Why You'll Love It Here

  • Full-time pay potential for part-time hours—maximize your earnings while keeping your days flexible.
  • Paid training on working with special needs students and using specialized safety equipment.
  • All necessary equipment provided, including signage, logo, and dashcam.
  • A consistent, predictable schedule aligned with the school calendar—no nights, weekends, or holidays.
  • The satisfaction of knowing your work directly supports children’s education and well-being.
  • $300 Sign-On Bonus for drivers with a transferable ODEW Certificate.

We are an equal opportunity organization and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.

We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all team members.
