We are currently seeking an energetic, dependable Group Leader to provide leadership and supervision in our Afterschool Program. This role works closely with the Afterschool Coordinator/Site Manager to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for students.
Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise children during daily activities and enrichment programs
  • Monitor student and staff attendance
  • Provide homework assistance and communicate concerns when needed
  • Supervise snacks and meals
  • Escort and supervise children during activities and transitions
  • Encourage positive behavior, manners, and appropriate discipline
  • Maintain communication and collaboration with program staff, parents, school personnel, and community partners
  • Attend required meetings, training, and professional development
  • Complete accurate timesheets and required documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree or higher preferred
  • Ability to pass required local and federal background checks and pre-employment drug screening
  • Must complete 10 hours of Ohio-approved training annually
  • Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with children is preferred
