Familiarity with data collection systems, behavior tracking software, and progress reporting tools is essential. Strong communication, patience, and collaboration skills are vital for working effectively with students, teachers, and support staff. Collaboration often involves regular communication, participating in team meetings, and sharing observations to help develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans. RBTs may also provide in-class support, assist in data collection, and offer strategies to teachers for managing challenging behaviors, ensuring a cohesive approach to student success.

What are school-based RBTs?

They implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to help students develop social, academic, and life skills. RBTs work closely with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure consistent and effective interventions, fostering a positive learning environment for students.
